Game viewing by tender boat into the Chobe National Park and Caprivi Wetland area allows you to get up close and personal to the outstanding wildlife.
Bird watching is a year-round pleasure with over 400 recorded species including the less common AfricanSkimmers and Rock Pratincoles. The Caprivi wetland in particular is host to an astonishing array of waterbirds delighting even the most basic of twitchers.

Guided walks are a must on Impalila Island as they will give you an insight into the life of local inhabitants,introduce you to the stark beauty of the area, and amaze you with the enormity of the Baobab trees. You can even climb an ancient Baobab tree from where you can see all four countries…a true one-of-a-kind event.
Fishing in over 100kms of the Chobe and Zambezi River for tiger fish, bream, and several other freshwater species. High-quality equipment (conventional and fly-fishing), knowledgeable guides, and excellent tender boats are all available for guest use.
Arrivals, Departures, And Transfers:
Guests for both Ichingo Chobe River Lodge and The Ichobezi are collected by boat from the Kasane immigration office and harbor in Botswana for the short trip across the river. Kasane is readily accessible by road from both South Africa and Namibia and in addition, there are now frequent flights from Johannesburg to Kasane. We can arrange for transfers from Victoria Falls or Livingstone or KatimaMulilo or Kasane airport to KASANE HARBOUR where we collect all ourguests.Private charters also regularly fly directly onto Impalila Island, where there is an excellent 1400 meter all-weather gravel airstrip. Thecoordinates of the airstrip on Impalila Island are S17° 46' 48'' E025° 11' 23''. The reference is FBKE (Kasane 031 3.6nm). Customs and immigration are cleared on the island.

Falcon safaris have given my the correct advice with excellent service. The only suggestion will be to work closer with the lodges to confirm bookings as soon as possible. We have booked and pay our deposit a year in advance. We have only receive our final convermation from Chobe Safari lodge a week before departure.
